I love Ellen DeGeneres and although I have not read her other books, I thoroughly enjoyed reading \u201cSeriously\u2026I\u2019m Kidding.\u201d <\/em><\/strong>Ellen is both funny and serious in several of her messages.<\/p>\n

\nThe book is a quick read that will keep you laughing pretty much the entire time \u2013 it was hard not to laugh out loud on the plane as I read \u201cSeriously\u2026I\u2019m Kidding.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I found it especially profound that Ellen DeGeneres talked about the fact that beauty is really about being comfortable in your own skin, as I know this has been a process for her\u2026especially as she came to terms with coming out and admitting that she\u2019s gay a few years ago.<\/p>\n

She also talked about the fact that when we accept our flaws as being part of who we are, then they are no longer an issue.\u00a0 It struck me throughout the book that when we just become more comfortable with who we are, no matter who that is, or what that means to us, we become more and more of who we are and the more the right people are attracted to us and the more our success grows (no matter how you measure success).<\/p>\n

The key to happiness is, in fact, being happy with yourself.\u00a0\u00a0 Enough said!<\/p>\n

So, if you\u2019re looking for a fun read, some laughs and a few lessons along the way, and you enjoy Ellen DeGeneres, you\u2019ll love this quick read.\u00a0 I highly recommend it.<\/p>\n
