It\u2019s about how you look at things, what you expect and how you respond \u2013 in every aspect of your life.<\/p>\n<p>Mindset and mental attitudes are important in these major areas in our lives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mental<\/li>\n<li>Emotional<\/li>\n<li>Physical<\/li>\n<li>Spiritual<\/li>\n<li>Financial<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For most of us, when we start in business, it\u2019s all about the how-to\u2019s, finding systems, getting started and making money.\u00a0 We forget about the importance of our thought process, how important it is to stay positive and more importantly, to have the proper mindset in all things.<\/p>\n<p>As we go about our busy days, we become beings of \u201cdoing\u201d \u2013 we\u2019re so busy doing things and getting things done, that we forget, or don\u2019t pay attention to, our feelings or our gut, and what it\u2019s telling us.<\/p>\n<p>And, this isn\u2019t about sappy feelings or emotions.\u00a0 It\u2019s about listening to what your gut is telling you. For instance, have you ever been having a (business or personal) conversation with somebody, or working on putting a joint venture together and something just didn\u2019t seem right (something didn\u2019t feel right to you)?\u00a0 Most of us ignore these feelings and just forge on, instead of taking time out of our day to evaluate what\u2019s really going on \u2013 maybe even deciding to listen to our gut.<\/p>\n<p>This is just one aspect of mindset. There are many others, and it goes way beyond being positive and thinking good thoughts.<\/p>\n<p>A major part of this that a lot of people forget (even some of those teaching this) is that you still have to take action. You can be positive and happy and be thinking all the right thoughts, but if you don\u2019t take some action, go out and do something, nothing is going to change \u2013 well, except that maybe you\u2019ll be happier.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.completemarketingsystems.com\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/meditation.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1839\" title=\"meditation\" src=\"https:\/\/www.completemarketingsystems.com\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/meditation-300x285.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"157\" height=\"148\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.completemarketingsystems.com\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/meditation-300x285.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.completemarketingsystems.com\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/meditation-1024x974.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.completemarketingsystems.com\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/meditation.jpg 1227w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 157px) 100vw, 157px\" \/><\/a>I\u2019m reminded of a time when a group of us were sitting at a round table discussion as part of a break-out session at a large conference.\u00a0 The woman at the head of the table was a well respected mindset coach and speaker, and as people were asking her questions, a woman spoke up and said she had been meditating for three hours a day, for over a year, and that nothing had changed in her life \u2013 except that financially she was now struggling.\u00a0 This woman was somewhat distraught, and I\u2019ll never forget what the mindset coach said to her next.<\/p>\n<p>She simply informed the woman that if she would meditate for 15 minutes a day and take the 2\u00bd hours she had left over and go take some action, go do something to move herself closer to her goals she would be a lot better off.\u00a0 It was great advice.<\/p>\n<p>There are books and courses written on mindset, the purpose of this article was simply to get you thinking about its importance \u2013 in your life and in your business.\u00a0 Don\u2019t get so caught up in the how do to things that you lose sight of your why\u2019s and your life.
