{"id":2150,"date":"2013-04-03T09:11:46","date_gmt":"2013-04-03T13:11:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.completemarketingsystems.com\/cms\/?p=2150"},"modified":"2013-04-03T09:11:46","modified_gmt":"2013-04-03T13:11:46","slug":"increase-your-profits-by-asking-whats-next-to-your-current-clients","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.completemarketingsystems.com\/cms\/increase-your-profits-by-asking-whats-next-to-your-current-clients","title":{"rendered":"Increase Your Profits By Asking What&#8217;s Next To Your Current Clients"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the best ways for small business owners to secure a successful future is to always be considering the next thing &#8211; the next product or the next service to put out. \u00a0Not only considering what that next thing is, but how it will be made, marketed and sold.<\/p>\n<p>This is one of the best strategies you can use in your business, because it allows you to focus on the future of your business instead of your present condition.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the thing though, you\u2019re going to need to think about the current conditions of your business in order to think about its future. \u00a0What that means is you\u2019re going to have to think back to your live events, or your teleseminars and webinars \u2013 whatever it is you do, and you\u2019re going to need to think about your clients.<\/p>\n<p>Attending those events are some of your most committed and valuable clients. \u00a0They\u2019ve purchased something from you, or have an interest in something you do, they\u2019re invested in you and your business in some way, shape or form.<\/p>\n<p>What happens when they come face-to-face with you, or they have you live in some other media? \u00a0They ask you questions. \u00a0When they ask these questions they\u2019re essentially telling you what they want.<\/p>\n<p>Think about the kinds of questions your clients are asking. \u00a0What are they looking for in your business that you\u2019re not yet providing? \u00a0Can you take their questions and turn them into the next product, service or solution?<\/p>\n<p>When you operate your business this way, what you\u2019re doing is building your relationship with your clients, with the people who\u2019ve invested with you. \u00a0It\u2019s so much harder, and so much more costly, to go out and find new clients to buy what you have. \u00a0It\u2019s easier, and smarter, to work with clients who have already made one or more purchases from you.<\/p>\n<p>Now, this doesn\u2019t mean you should stop trying to get new business. \u00a0But, if you think about the next things you can put out to your current clients, your current subscribers, your current list, and sell to them again instead of constantly searching for new clients to sell to, you could be cutting your marketing costs by ten or twenty percent \u2013 sometimes more than that.<\/p>\n<p>It just makes sense to do that!<\/p>\n<p>And here\u2019s the thing, this can go on forever. \u00a0You can send out surveys and emails to find out what your clients would like to see from you next. \u00a0Find out what they are expecting from you or what they want from you and your business.<\/p>\n<p>When you continue to deliver on your clients\u2019 wants and needs, you\u2019ll not only enhance your relationship with them, not only secure your company\u2019s place in the future, not only reduce your marketing cost, but you\u2019ll also increase your profit margins. \u00a0And that\u2019s what being in business for yourself is all about &#8211; building a business that is self-sustaining and gives you more than working for someone else ever could.<\/p>\n<p>Take advantage of the tips your clients are dropping in their questions. \u00a0Conduct surveys. \u00a0Start turning their suggestions into the next things you create for them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the best ways for small business owners to secure a successful future is to always be considering the next thing &#8211; the next product or the next service to put out. \u00a0Not only considering what that next thing is, but how it will be made, marketed and sold.
