How do you make decisions?\u00a0 How do you make decisions in your business?\u00a0 Here is a philosophy that will serve you very well if you apply and use it\u2026 Say yes and figure out the details later.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s also important to plan, but for most people if you apply say yes and figure out the details later, it will take you a lot farther than always needing to know the how and all the other details before you commit.<\/p>\n

Sometimes, you have to take the opportunity that\u2019s in front of you and work it out.\u00a0 This isn\u2019t about throwing mud on the wall, saying yes to everything and then being totally overwhelmed.\u00a0 This is about those opportunities that come and you say, \u201cthis is perfect for me!\u201d or \u201cI really want to do that, but\u2026 I\u2019m in the middle of this.\u201d or \u201cI\u2019ve got this going on.\u201d or \u201cIt\u2019s not a good time.\u00a0 The kids have\u2026\u201d or \u201chubby\u2019s traveling.\u201d<\/p>\n

Instead, say yes and figure out a way to make it happen.\u00a0 In reality, you have to make decisions in your life and sometimes you just have to say no because it doesn\u2019t fit your schedule or it\u2019s just not the right time for some reason.<\/p>\n

You want to avoid making excuses for not doing the things you want to do or that you need to do to move your business forward.\u00a0 Excuses and reasons are just you saying no to opportunities.<\/p>\n

Recently, in the middle of moving, getting ready to leave for vacation, and a marketing an event, an opportunity came up to speak in London, England. \u00a0The say yes philosophy still prevailed.<\/p>\n

If too busy is a foreign concept to you, ask yourself questions like:\u00a0 \u201cWhat could I possibly be too busy for?\u00a0 Am I too busy to meet new people?\u00a0 Am I too busy to affect more lives?\u00a0 Am I too busy to make an impact?\u00a0 Am I too busy to teach, share and help people in their business?\u201d\u00a0 Of course you aren\u2019t too busy.<\/p>\n

It might not be 100% convenient, but so what?\u00a0 Say yes.\u00a0 Have a great time!\u00a0 Meet new people.\u00a0 Make an impact.\u00a0 Get new clients.\u00a0 Form relationships.\u00a0 When you get back, everything will still be there waiting for you. \u00a0The business, the boxes, the packing, getting ready for vacation, the dogs, the house, the team, friends – it will all still be there.<\/p>\n

The point is, don\u2019t hesitate.\u00a0 Say yes!\u00a0 Figure out the how as it comes.\u00a0 This isn\u2019t about throwing mud on the wall and not planning.\u00a0 You have to have a plan.\u00a0 Some things fit into your plan and some things don\u2019t.<\/p>\n
