Have you heard people say that long sales letters don\u2019t work?\u00a0 Some people claim they\u2019d never read one.\u00a0 It\u2019s always interesting when people say that.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s the right answer?\u00a0 The right answer is we\u2019ll read things we\u2019re interested in – a book or a sales letter.\u00a0 You might not watch a video if it\u2019s boring, but if someone has your attention and you\u2019re riveted, you\u2019re going to watch it.\u00a0 You won\u2019t watch a TV show you aren\u2019t interested in.\u00a0 If you aren\u2019t a sports fan, you\u2019re not going to sit down on a Saturday and watch sports.\u00a0 Does that mean nobody\u2019s interested in sports anymore?\u00a0 It doesn\u2019t mean that at all.\u00a0 It just means that certain people are interested in sports and others aren\u2019t.<\/p>\n

The key is to know your audience.\u00a0 You need to know what they want and how they want to buy from you.\u00a0 The way we buy is the way we buy.\u00a0 People who buy from you online will probably buy from you again online.\u00a0 People who buy from you live when you\u2019re speaking from the platform will probably buy from you again that way.\u00a0 You\u2019ll have to get these people to a live event in order to get them to buy from you again.<\/p>\n

You have to know your clients and you give people options based on who your clients are.\u00a0 Some of your clients want long form sales letters.\u00a0 Some of your clients want video.\u00a0 Each of them wants different things.\u00a0 Give people many options so they can consume the information you want them to have the way they want to consume it.\u00a0 Some people will watch a short video online but won\u2019t sit for 15-20 minutes to watch a video.<\/p>\n

Give people options \u2013 as many as you possibly can.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Think about who your niche is and who you\u2019re talking to.\u00a0 For example, if you are talking to women, you might approach things different than if you were talking to men.\u00a0 Women\u2019s market responses are different from men.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s about being really specific and talking directly to your ideal client.\u00a0 You also have people that aren\u2019t necessarily your ideal client, who do business with you.\u00a0 Apparently, they like how you\u2019re doing things because they\u2019ve already invested with you and spent money with you.<\/p>\n

Look at how many ways you can give information.\u00a0 If you\u2019re going to do a sales page, which still work, put a video up as well as a long form sales page. \u00a0Give people, who want to read, the ability to do that.\u00a0 Same thing is true of testimonials and case histories.\u00a0 Some can be written, some can be audio and others can be video.\u00a0 This way people can skim and get what they want out of the testimonials.\u00a0 You get the benefit of having them there no matter how they choose to consume the information<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
