At the \u201cImplementation Coaching Event\u2122\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/a><\/span> we discussed a book I read and now highly recommend\u2026The ONE Thing<\/span><\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Interestingly enough, like another great book you\u2019ve probably read, the whole concept of the book is in the title.\u00a0 If you ever have trouble focusing or feel like your business has hit a bit of a plateau or you just need a boast in your work life, read this book.<\/p>\n

And, not to ruin it for you, but here is the focusing question that you should ask yourself if you feel like you lack focus:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat is the ONE THING I can do such that by doing\u00a0it everything else will be easier or unnecessary?\u201d<\/p>\n

This one thing (no pun intended) will change how you do business and your productivity if you will just focus on the One Thing every single day, and not let anything distract you until you have completed your one thing.<\/p>\n

Lack of focus is one of the biggest challenges most business owners face today. They have a hard time completing, implementing and executing because they have Bright Shiny Object Syndrome (BSOS), and also because there is so much to get done on a daily basis.<\/p>\n

The overwhelm from feeling like you have too much to do comes from a lack of leverage and systems in your business.\u00a0\u00a0 It also comes from allowing distractions into your day and not controlling your schedule. You have to protect your time \u2013 otherwise it gets gone and you have no idea where it went, and you are left wondering what you accomplished during the day.<\/p>\n

If any of this rings true for you, just keep bringing yourself back to center \u2013 back to the thing you need to complete or accomplish today \u2013 just one thing, not 3 or 5 or the 100 things on your to-do list\u2026<\/p>\n

Just one thing \u2013 sounds simple, doesn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n
