It seems like every day on social media there are posts approving or disapproving of something, someone, what somebody did or didn’t do, what they said, and the list goes on and on. To just be 100% open here, I’m amazed by it and frankly really pretty tired of it too.

It is so easy to judge what we don’t fully understand and completely know about. Let’s face it, none of us truly knows the details of any situation we’re not directly involved in. Yet, we make judgments about it.

It’s the same in your business.

You make judgments about what you think people need, instead of asking them. Or better yet, giving them what they want. People buy what they want, and that’s sometimes different than what they need. So, in your business, you sell your clients what they want and also give them what they need.

You also make judgments about yourself and what you’re capable of, how smart you are (or how smart you think other people are), whether you’re good enough, and the list goes on and on.

You’re so hard on yourself. And, we’re so hard on each other.

Do all the little things really matter so much?

Maybe they do, maybe they don’t – the great thing is you get to decide.

I saw a discussion the other day on Facebook that said people can tell if you’re over 40 if you’re still putting two spaces after periods at the end of sentences. My response was, I don’t so much care if people know if I’m over 40 (I’m over 50 now). Yes, I learned to type on a typewriter where two spaces is how we learned. I guess now with computers it isn’t necessary. In case you’re wondering, both are considered correct (depending on the situation and who you’re submitting to).

Life is too short (or too long, depending on how you look at it) to get so wrapped up in some of the stuff we get wrapped up in and make judgments about.

Go run your business, help people, make money, take more time off and have more fun.

And, by the way, when you stop judging yourself so much, and just step out and do things, try new things, sometimes they’ll work better than others, but at least you’re in there playing the game and not sitting on the sidelines watching. And, as long as you learn from everything you do, there’s always a success in there.

Have a great rest of the week and enjoy your weekend!

Prosperity & Abundance to You –

PS – I’d love for you to leave a comment or share the post!
