Sometimes we learn more from other people\u2019s mistakes than we do our own. And, sometimes the way to do that is to point out when we, or others, miss things in our marketing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Sometimes simply taking the time to think about what you\u2019re doing will make all the difference in the world.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>As I talked about in the video, is it really appropriate to have a \u201cHurricane Special\u201d for your event right after one just hit and did a lot of damage\u2026even if you make it a money raising benefit?<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">You have to decide what\u2019s right for your business\u2026the person who did it after the recent hurricanes got a lot of negative press for it. You should be using current events in your marketing \u2013 you just want to make sure you do it in a way that is congruent with your values\u2026because that\u2019s ultimately what matters. You do that best when you\u2019re being mindful in your business.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">You hear people talk about business and business success all the time.
