There are issues of sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, and more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As small business owners, this is an issue we can have a lot of influence in by being more inclusive. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Even if you have a niche business, there is a lot of diversity inside most niches. And, those areas of diversity might include things you wouldn\u2019t normally think of like whether people are conservative or more liberal in their views, whether people are from more rural or urban areas and much more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I think about how diverse even groups of woman are and it amazes me.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">To be clear, I&#8217;m not talking about judgments here but more categories we might put women in.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>This isn\u2019t in any way about labels\u2026as a matter of fact, it\u2019s just the opposite, it\u2019s about not labeling but accepting people for who and what they are &#8212;<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>most of all people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This is an area (diversity and inclusion) I will be talking about more this year so if you have questions or things you\u2019d like to know more about in this area please reach out and let me know. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Diversity is a buzz word in the world today.
