Sometimes you have to take a step away to really rest\u2026as in do nothing. No schedule to keep, no appointments, no plans, just nothing. Just time. Time to do what you want, to rest and to give your brain time to just be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you have kids, especially young ones, it\u2019s harder to do,\ntakes more planning, and can still be done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I just returned from a week at the beach. Well, actually,\nmore like 10 days because I hosted my top clients at a private 2-day\nMastermind, before my vacation, but a full week of nothing but sunshine, walks\non the beach, reading, good food, and some meditating to the sounds of ocean\nwaves crashing and nature.  I haven\u2019t\nfelt this relaxed and refreshed in a very long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My big take-away that I wanted to share with you today is we all have the choice of how we respond to things every day, not just when we\u2019re relaxed, on vacation, or feeling less stressed than we normally do. We can always choose to be aware and in the moment, or we can choose to just react like we always do. Being conscious is a bit of a harder choice\u2026until you get to the point of just living your life like that every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the way, the pictures are ones I took on one of my morning walks (no filters, no cropping \u2013 just the beauty of the beginning of a day).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ll be sharing more photos and things I observed while I\nwas away in the coming weeks. It\u2019s funny how nature has a way of showing us so\nmany lessons\u2026we just have to be watching and listening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019d like to challenge you to take a few minutes today to\njust sit and listen or look out the window and be with what you see, feel and\nhear. It might just surprise you \u2013 and you might even be able to apply it to\nyour business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
