{"id":5078,"date":"2019-11-07T10:00:51","date_gmt":"2019-11-07T15:00:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.completemarketingsystems.com\/cms\/?p=5078"},"modified":"2019-10-23T13:55:48","modified_gmt":"2019-10-23T17:55:48","slug":"the-biggest-mistake-coaches-make","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.completemarketingsystems.com\/cms\/the-biggest-mistake-coaches-make","title":{"rendered":"The Biggest Mistake Coaches Make"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re well into the first morning of Plan, Grow &amp;\nSucceed at the Smoke Rise Country Club in Atlanta as you are getting this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The coaching\/expert industry has grown a lot in the last few\nyears \u2013 there seems like now you can find a \u201ccoach\u201d for just about anything and\nit also seems like almost everyone wants to be a \u201ccoach.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are all sorts of people calling themselves \u201cexperts\u201d\nor the \u201cauthority\u201d or an \u201cinfluencer.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\">\nvar playerhost = ((\"https:\" == document.location.protocol) ? \"https:\/\/2019ezinevideos.s3.amazonaws.com\/ezs3js\/secure\/\" : \"http:\/\/2019ezinevideos.s3.amazonaws.com\/ezs3js\/player\/\");\ndocument.write(unescape(\"%3Cscript src='\" + playerhost + \"flv\/C18244EB-B57B-CFA6-42220009A3265CD5.js?t=\"+(Math.random() * 99999999)+\"' type='text\/javascript'%3E%3C\/script%3E\"));\n<\/script>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Learn \u2013 Do \u2013 Teach!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Learn how to do something\u2026Do the thing and get great or\nexcellent at it, make good money doing it\u2026Teach others how you did it\u2026In That\nOrder!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes, this is a pet peeve of mine\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How are you going to teach something if you don\u2019t know how\nto do it yourself? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Would you hire a math tutor for your child who couldn\u2019t do\nmath?<br>\n<br>\nWould you hire a plumber to fix your air conditioner?<br>\n<br>\nWould you listen to or train with an obese personal trainer if you were trying\nto lose 50 pounds and get in shape?<br>\n<br>\nProbably not\u2026my answer to all of those is not just no but NO!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Which is why I don\u2019t understand why so many people will\nshell out money to somebody who has never built a 6 or 7 figure business. Or to\nthe person who just hung out their shingle and is now open for business. Or to\nthe person who just went to an event and paid money for a piece of paper that\nsays they are now certified to do something, but they have no know-how (and\nvery little knowledge).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To be fair this happens in other areas besides business and\ncoaching.<br>\n<br>\nHere\u2019s my point\u2026we can do better\u2026we have to do better\u2026we owe it to each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Go make a positive difference in somebody\u2019s life today\u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am\u2026here in Atlanta with the group that gathered for the\nevent!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To Your Success \u2013 <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re well into the first morning of Plan, Grow &amp; Succeed at the Smoke Rise Country Club in Atlanta as you are getting this.
