<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nThere is so much power in having a group of Influencers\u2026it\nmight be your list, it might be colleagues, or it might be others. Sometimes,\nit\u2019s important that you have a lot of these and at other times, just a few\npeople in your corner can make the difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And, usually, it\u2019s not the amount of influence you have,\nnecessarily, but the people around you and whether you can get them onboard\nwith you or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let me give you an example\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I invested in a Peloton bike about 2 months ago and I have\nbeen riding regularly ever since. There is a particular ride I like on Sunday\u2019s\nthat is spiritually based and has a lesson every week while you\u2019re pushing\nyourself to the limit on a ride. For our purposes, let\u2019s call this Ride A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since I\u2019ve been taking this ride, there have never been less\nthan 5,000 people taking it live, while it happens (and others take it \u201cOn Demand\u201d\nat other times). Imagine having the\nattention of 5,000+ people once a week for 30 minutes… <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last Sunday, the instructor announced there would only be\ntwo more weeks of this ride happening live and made mention if we wanted to see\nthe ride continue, we should reach out and let our voices be heard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I like this ride a lot so I decided to see if I could get\n2,000 riders to comment on a post on the main company page, knowing they monitor\nit and I was sure they would see the support. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Within about 4 hours, there were almost 1,000 comments and over 900 likes, sad faces, etc. on my original post\u2026and the numbers keep increasing. I used some of what I know about social media and marketing to keep the post close to the top of a very active page that gets literally hundreds of posts per day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nA couple hours after the post went live and was getting so much activity on the page the instructor went live on multiple social media channels telling people there was a misunderstanding and the ride wasn\u2019t being cancelled but just put on a hiatus and it would be back. I have my opinion about why this happened, but the point is\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2026there is real power in having a \u2018tribe,\u201d a fan base, a\n\u201clist,\u201d a group of people you can go to when you want\/need something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bill Glazer used to say when he wanted something \u2013 a new\ncar, to take a vacation, etc. \u2013 he would figure out a way to have his list pay\nfor it. In other words, he would develop a program, or sell something to\nstrategically to his list to generate income at specific times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When you have people who love what you do, how you do it, or\nthe effect you have on them, it\u2019s amazing what happens\u2026and not just as it\nrelates to income or money either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How do you develop that so you can increase the loyalty with your tribe, followers, list\u2026whatever word you choose to use???<\/p>\n\n\n\n
