The purple flower that appeared and then disappeared in a single 24-hour period held a lot of lessons for me.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

The part about the purple flower I didn\u2019t share last week, the part that stuck with me for a while \u2013 until I looked for another lesson \u2013 was about being alone\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2026there it was, that one single purple flower.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2026it seemingly had come from nowhere.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2026and it was <\/span>alone<\/b> in this <\/span>Big<\/b> yard.<\/span><\/p>\n

Surrounded by <\/span>nothing <\/b>that resembled it\u2026nothing that looked like it\u2026nothing that smelled like it\u2026nothing that was the same color, size or shape as it!<\/span><\/p>\n

It was, in fact, all alone.<\/span><\/p>\n

All alone in this big sea of green.<\/span><\/p>\n

That thought brought a feeling of sadness throughout my whole body. It was overwhelming for a little while.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"For a moment, I thought that lone purple flower represented me\u2026that it was me.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Just one purple flower in a big yard, felt like me in the big, vast world.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Then, I realized, just as that one flower had gotten my attention and had changed my day, each of us has the opportunity to do the exact same thing.<\/span><\/p>\n

And, as business owners we have the opportunity and the ability to have an even greater affect than most others do.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Every day, we have an opportunity to change the lives of other people by simply doing what we do. And, the ripple effect that goes out from that is pretty phenomenal.\u00a0 You can literally help one person, and that touch thousands, hundreds of thousands as that person helps one, who helps one, and so on.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pretty amazing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yep, I got all that from a flower.<\/span><\/p>\n
