You might know I like sports\u2026 so this past weekend was a great weekend.<\/p>\n
College and pro football returned\u2026<\/p>\n
And, the US Open tennis championships were played.<\/p>\n
First, the women\u2019s championships.<\/p>\n
Victoria Azarenka hadn\u2019t played in a Grand Slam title in 7 years<\/strong>. She just returned to tennis after being gone for 3 years<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Naomi Osaka beat her in the final match. She came back after losing the first set. Something that hadn\u2019t been done in 26 years<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Tenacity. Determination. And the Will To Win!<\/strong><\/p>\n They all played out last Saturday\u2026 and it was fun to watch.<\/p>\n Sunday, when the men played, it was even more amazing!<\/p>\n Dominic Thiem came back from 2 sets down to win in a tie breaker in the final set.<\/p>\n After more than 4 hours on the tennis court, his legs were cramping and he could barely walk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n But he gutted it out and overcame the odds to win.<\/p>\n Nobody had come from behind by 2 sets and won the US Open since 1949\u2026 that\u2019s 71 years<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Fight. Never Give Up. Whatever It Takes. No Matter What!<\/strong><\/p>\n What does this have to do with you?<\/p>\n Don\u2019t like sports? Why should you care?<\/p>\n We can find lessons about life and business in all kinds of places. Sports is certainly one of them.<\/p>\n It\u2019s easy to give up. To throw in the towel. To look at other avenues or ventures. To disappear into the crowd and never be seen again.<\/p>\n It only takes one win<\/strong> to turn everything around<\/strong>.
