{"id":5977,"date":"2021-08-12T10:00:35","date_gmt":"2021-08-12T14:00:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.completemarketingsystems.com\/cms\/?p=5977"},"modified":"2021-08-11T18:19:49","modified_gmt":"2021-08-11T22:19:49","slug":"lessons-from-40-years","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.completemarketingsystems.com\/cms\/lessons-from-40-years","title":{"rendered":"Lessons From 40 Years"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last weekend, I returned to Ohio where I grew up to attend my 40-year high school reunion.<\/p>\n<p>So many things popped up for me as I visited with some friends and drove past homes and into neighborhoods and took some time to reminisce and think about my time there.<\/p>\n<p>First is that <strong>time changes things<\/strong>\u2026 some things, not all things. <strong>Some things stay the same.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As I wondered how that could be I thought about how business is very similar.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Strategies<\/strong> change.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Technology<\/strong> changes.<\/li>\n<li>New things come out and replace older ones<br \/>\n(like the infrastructure of a town or area).<\/li>\n<li>We become <strong>more efficient<\/strong> in how we do things.<\/li>\n<li>We <strong>expand and grow.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>AND there are always things that remain the same\u2026that are constant and consistent in business. Nothing can break them.
