<\/p>\nI did something I almost never do\u2026<\/p>\n
I took the last two weeks of the year off.<\/p>\n
Not entirely, I did a few phone calls and answered emails but that was about it.<\/p>\n
I watched movies.<\/p>\n
I read.<\/p>\n
I spent time with some of the most special people in my life.<\/p>\n
I slept.<\/p>\n
I rested.<\/p>\n
I skipped a few workouts!<\/p>\n
And most of all\u2026<\/p>\n
I didn\u2019t beat myself up about it.<\/p>\n
I didn\u2019t feel guilty.<\/p>\n
I didn\u2019t tell myself I should be more productive.<\/p>\n
I let my mind, body and soul rest.<\/p>\n
Usually, I sit at my desk and am productive during this time. Planning and telling myself I\u2019m getting ahead so I\u2019ll be ready for the New Year.<\/p>\n
You know what?<\/p>\n
I felt better Monday as I returned to my office and sat down at my desk than I have in a very long time.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m excited about where my business is going this year\u2026 for the first time in a while.<\/p>\n
And I don\u2019t have all the answers.<\/p>\n
I don\u2019t know 100% what it\u2019s going to look like.<\/p>\n
I just know I have a more positive outlook and am more excited about life and business and what that\u2019s going to look like in 2022 than I have been in a while.<\/p>\n
Sometimes, to break a paradigm, you have to do something completely different.<\/p>\n
What paradigm are you willing to look at?<\/p>\n
