How often do you completely unplug?<\/strong><\/p>\n

No<\/strong> client calls\u2026\"\"<\/p>\n

No<\/strong> email\u2026<\/p>\n

No<\/strong> social media\u2026<\/p>\n

No<\/strong> writing\u2026<\/p>\n

No<\/strong> business books, podcasts, etc.<\/p>\n

Nothing related to business on your agenda for a week \u2013 or more!<\/strong><\/p>\n

When was the last time you did that?I don\u2019t do it as often as I should but when I do take time off, I completely unplug.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I always come back refreshed<\/strong>, with a ton of new ideas<\/strong>, ready to implement and focus<\/strong> and with a new zest and enthusiasm<\/strong> for the business\u2026 and everything else for that matter.<\/p>\n

I often get a lot of questions from people asking me how I can completely turn things off and have no contact.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It used to be harder than it is now.<\/p>\n

It would take me days to relax and not feel like I needed to be working.<\/p>\n

With the right systems in place, a great team<\/strong> supporting me (who I trust to handle anything that might come up) and a little discipline and faith<\/strong> to just realize there\u2019s nothing that\u2019s so important that it can\u2019t wait a few days while I take some time off. And nothing that can\u2019t be fixed if there is a hiccup.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not a doctor or a surgeon. Nobody\u2019s going to die if they don\u2019t hear from me for a day or two.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s funny, my clients are the reason I don\u2019t take my laptop or anything with me on vacation.<\/p>\n

A couple years ago when I said I would have my laptop in case they needed something there was a simultaneous cry of \u201cNO\u201d by every person who was on the call. They said they were good. They said \u201cgo, have fun, relax\u2026 we\u2019ll talk to you when you get back.\u201d<\/p>\n

And it works!<\/strong><\/p>\n

And I\u2019m better for it.<\/p>\n

So are my clients\u2026 because they get a better coach, mentor, businessperson, entrepreneur.<\/strong><\/p>\n

By the way, I\u2019m taking my own advice this year. I have 2 trips planned and paid for (that\u2019s a key to taking vacations \u2013 plan them) in the coming months and a get-away planned around Christmas.<\/p>\n

And remember to do it your way<\/strong>. Do what you want<\/strong> to do \u2013 what\u2019s fun, relaxing or invigorating for YOU!<\/strong><\/p>\n
