Last weekend I commented on a post in a marketing group I\u2019ve been part of for a long time.<\/p>\n
The person asking the question was so set on one thing they lost sight of what was important.<\/p>\n
The real goal<\/strong> was getting people into his place of business. They were so focused on getting people to opt-in they were actually repelling people<\/strong>. So, I made some suggestions to help the business owner achieve what they were aiming for.<\/p>\n Pretty soon, I got a reply from a guy who I see in the group a lot and comments on my comments occasionally. He said I had given another logical reply<\/strong>. I asked him if that was good or bad, and he said it was good<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The interaction got me thinking.<\/p>\n Most things in life, and business, certainly most challenges, are solved with some calm, logical thoughts.<\/strong><\/p>\n The problem with that is that for so many of us, it\u2019s harder to be calm and logical when you\u2019re in the middle of what feels like a fire<\/strong> in your life or business.<\/p>\n It’s hard to be objective when you\u2019re in the woods,<\/strong> looking for a way out.<\/p>\n Panic can easily set in<\/strong> when you\u2019re lost and can\u2019t find your way.<\/p>\n One of the best reasons to have a coach is for the different perspective<\/strong>. Having somebody who isn\u2019t in the woods with you helps you find your way out.<\/p>\n You\u2019ve heard the expression, \u201cyou can\u2019t see the forest for the trees<\/strong>.\u201d It applies perfectly here. A good coach can see both the forest and the trees and help you in ways you can\u2019t even imagine\u2026or see.<\/p>\n If you\u2019re looking for that person in your business, let\u2019s chat. I might be that for you. I might not.
