Wow! It was amazing<\/strong> to watch and read all that went on.<\/p>\n Some had never heard of him before. Some were devout, long-time followers, and some became overnight fans!<\/p>\n In case you didn\u2019t see it, there was an offer after several hour webinars to get all his courses and books for free! That\u2019s right\u2026 No charge\u2026 for everything!<\/strong><\/p>\n And the internet went crazy<\/strong> with people immediately saying this is the next big thing\u2026 let\u2019s give our stuff away for free!<\/p>\n And as predicted, all kinds of things started popping up \u2013 including people offering services related to what they thought they heard on the webinar.<\/p>\n Do you want to know why you shouldn\u2019t immediately change everything about your business when a new person, product or service pops into your awareness?<\/strong><\/p>\n The main reason you want to be cautious before you jump<\/strong> is your business probably isn\u2019t in the same place as the person you\u2019re looking to model or copy.<\/p>\n In this particular case, the bank has tens of millions of dollars. He can afford to lose some money \u2013 my guess is if he never made another dollar in his business, he\u2019d be ok money-wise\u2026 would you?<\/p>\n Do you know what the strategy was for this particular model? Do you have a strategy?<\/strong><\/p>\n What\u2019s the back end<\/strong> of this promotion look like? Do you even have a back end in your business?<\/p>\n He\u2019s making money on \u201cimplementation and transformation\u201d.<\/strong> Can you make money in that arena? Do you want to?<\/strong><\/p>\n Can you produce thousands of unique pieces of good content<\/strong> to draw attention to your business every week, consistently<\/strong> for the next 52 weeks?<\/p>\n I could go on and on, but this would be more like a book than an article if I did.<\/p>\n The bottom line is before you jump into trying to copy or do what somebody else is doing, think<\/strong> about it first, gather some data, develop a strategy,<\/strong> ask yourself\u2026 is this the best way for me to move forward in MY business?<\/strong><\/p>\n Don\u2019t get me wrong, I\u2019m not saying this is a bad strategy. I\u2019m not even saying you shouldn\u2019t do it \u2013 or some version of it.<\/p>\n What I am saying is Before you jump in \u2013 THINK, STRATEGIZE, PLAN!<\/strong><\/p>\n Then act\u2026<\/p>\n As always, test small and then roll it out as its success grows\u2026<\/strong> that way you minimize your risk.<\/p>\n Remember, you can\u2019t multiple zeros\u2026 you can, but it\u2019s always the same number \u2013 Zero!<\/p>\n Finally, be careful who you listen to<\/strong> \u2013 people will come out of the woodwork with all sorts of things to sell you and make money within the coming days and weeks (I\u2019ve already seen some).
