Do you learn something new every day?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Do you read and observe in an attempt to pull a lesson out of every situation<\/strong> \u2013 good and those that are challenging as well?<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m constantly looking for lessons<\/strong> and things I can use in my business or share<\/strong> with clients and other business owners so they can grow<\/strong> and take their businesses to the levels they desire.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sometimes, those lessons come to me in the most unexpected places<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

A sermon at church.<\/strong><\/span>
\nA restaurant enjoying a meal.<\/strong><\/span>
\nWalking<\/strong> into a store.<\/span>
\nOn the phone with a vendor, team member or customer service rep.<\/strong><\/span>
\nDriving<\/strong> down the street.<\/span>
\nLooking out my office window\u2026<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Last week there were enough lessons to write a book \u2013 from one webinar that took the internet by storm. And from a person so many people had never heard of before.<\/span><\/p>\n

What always surprises me<\/strong> when something big happens \u2013 whether it lasts for years, months, weeks, days or mere minutes \u2013 is the naysayers and the haters that pop up.<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s always something to learn<\/strong> \u2013 even if you disagree with someone or think they could have done something differently.
\nWhy throw shade? Why bad mouth?<\/span><\/p>\n

Just move along. Keep it to yourself.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sometimes we forget that everybody has feelings. And everybody is somebody\u2019s son, daughter, mom, dad, sister, brother, friend, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Just because you wouldn\u2019t do something, or do it a certain way, doesn\u2019t make it wrong!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

And it might not be right for you, but it doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s not right for other people.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

And, in case you\u2019re about to remind me that I talked about all this last week \u2013 you\u2019re right \u2013 in an effort to point out how you could learn from it without making mistakes that simply jumping to the conclusion that you should do the exact same thing might cause.<\/span><\/p>\n

Learn from everything!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Take all the lessons you can from everything that happens to you in your life and business.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

And when it doesn\u2019t fit for you \u2013 or doesn\u2019t fit for you right now \u2013 just leave it where it is. Scroll on without commenting.<\/strong> Or write something out all about how you think it\u2019s the wrong thing, and then file it away in your computer without publishing it.<\/span><\/p>\n

No matter what you think about last week\u2019s internet storm\u2026 it accomplished a lot \u2013 to include probably making some money and getting him some new clients (I say probably because I don\u2019t know the inner workings of his business to say for sure). And it got his book way higher on the Amazon list than not doing the promotion \u2013 that I\u2019m sure of!<\/span><\/p>\n
