I was at the gym this morning \u2013 I\u2019m not usually a morning exerciser, I prefer to go in the afternoon, and before the after-work crowd.<\/div>\n

\"\"I was between sets on the bench press when it hit me that I had prioritized my health this morning.\u00a0 I\u2019m teaching a class today at 4pm and because I don\u2019t want to compete with that after-work crowd I went to the gym first thing.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
That meant I rearranged my schedule from what is \u201cnormal\u201d for me.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I\u2019m pretty disciplined<\/strong>. And I get 4-6 workouts in most weeks.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
What struck me this morning was the reason I was at the gym at an unusual hour for me \u2013 it was because I prioritize<\/strong> working out, my health, and moving my body.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Not because I wanted to get up and go to the gym. Afterall, it was raining\u2026 which really made me want to stay in bed.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
It’s the same in business.<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
You\u2019ve heard it just like I have.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The excuses\u2026<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t have time.\u201d<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u201cI can\u2019t afford it.\u201d<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u201cI tried that once, and it didn\u2019t work.\u201d<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t want to<\/strong> do that.\u201d<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The list goes on and on.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We all know we make the time<\/strong> and find the money<\/strong> for the things that are important to us.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Everything else is just an excuse.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
If you can be honest with yourself<\/strong> when you ask yourself, \u201cwhat am I willing to do to get where I (say I) want to go,\u201d you\u2019ll be amazed<\/strong> at the clarity<\/strong> you find. And when you do that, then you can truly prioritize<\/strong> your life and your business.<\/div>\n

It\u2019s easy to say, \u201cI\u2019ll do whatever it takes.\u201d<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
But most won\u2019t. And that\u2019s ok.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Prioritizing makes choices easier.<\/strong> It\u2019s based on your priorities.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
And priorities change<\/strong> over time.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
