In your life and in your business!<\/p>\n

That might seem obvious to you\u2026 and it should.<\/p>\n

And, I see so many people \u2013 and business owners \u2013 wasting time, spinning their wheels, and thinking somebody else will solve their problems that it bears repeating.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re responsible.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You and you alone.<\/p>\n

You are where you are based on the decisions you\u2019ve made.<\/strong> And the ones you didn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll continue to be where you are based on the next decision, and the next, and the next.<\/p>\n

And on the ones you avoid making.<\/p>\n

Now, don\u2019t get me wrong, you don\u2019t control everything \u2013 there are situations that are beyond your control.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The travel industry experienced one of these situations last weekend.<\/p>\n

Travelers couldn\u2019t control all the canceled and delayed flights. To some degree, neither could the airlines\u2026 and the airline and airport employees certainly couldn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

But\u2026<\/p>\n

Do you know what you can control?<\/p>\n

How you react or respond<\/strong> to the situation.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s nothing you can do about it, so you just have to do the best you can<\/strong> and go with the flow.<\/p>\n

And, while you have that time sitting in an airport or hotel room or wherever you are, you can still make every second count.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Phones still work.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s still email.<\/p>\n

And, if you have access to the internet there\u2019s a lot you can do to stay productive.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are a lot of ways to make every second count.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t always have to be about business.<\/p>\n

Lending a hand, offering comfort, and just listening are all ways to make every second count \u2013 for yourself and for others around you.<\/p>\n

I want to challenge you to make every second count in your life this week.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I bet if you do, you\u2019ll have one of the best weeks ever \u2013 even when you face the challenges<\/strong> that are bound to come your way!<\/p>\n

I\u2019d love to hear about your ultra-productive week<\/strong> (or day) where you make every second count.<\/strong><\/p>\n

By the way, don\u2019t confuse this with meaning that you have to be working all the time \u2013 that\u2019s not what this was about\u2026 not at all.<\/p>\n
