I was in Tampa, Florida last weekend watching the Women\u2019s College Basketball Final 4. This is the third year in a row I\u2019ve had the privilege of attending.<\/p>\n

As I was watching the games, with all the fanfare and hoopla that surrounds the event, it struck me that winning comes down to just a few fundamental things<\/strong> \u2013 in sports and in business (life).<\/p>\n

\"\"While they\u2019re different in each \u2013 they\u2019re different in every sport \u2013 in business, most things you have to do to succeed<\/strong> are the same<\/strong> \u2013 no matter what kind of business you own.<\/p>\n

Successful businesses have a solid foundation.<\/strong> They have systems<\/strong> in place that allow the business to function and run, that aren\u2019t based on people, but the systems (and following them).<\/p>\n

Strategy is at the forefront of successful businesses.<\/strong> This is how decisions are made\u2026 strategically.<\/strong> Keeping the desired end result<\/strong> in mind at all times.<\/p>\n

Winners get things done.<\/strong> They implement.<\/strong> They do it quickly<\/strong> and move to the next thing.<\/p>\n

Winners are constantly looking for better ways to do things.<\/strong> Not new ways for the sake of change, but better, more efficient<\/strong> and effective<\/strong> ways. It\u2019s about increasing productivity<\/strong> and profits<\/strong> for successful people and businesses.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a certain drive that winners have.<\/strong> You can almost see it in their eyes.<\/p>\n

It’s a do whatever it takes kind of attitude.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Winners are unstoppable\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not because they don\u2019t face adversity, challenges and even defeat at times.<\/p>\n

Winners are unstoppable because they keep going.<\/strong> They get back up<\/strong> and continue<\/strong> on. They modify, change and adapt.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Winners always succeed<\/strong> in the end\u2026<\/p>\n
