When was the last time you had a truly WOW<\/strong> experience?<\/p>\n

You know, the kind you can\u2019t stop talking about<\/strong> or telling others about\u2026<\/p>\n

Seems like these happen less and less these days, huh?<\/p>\n

Well, while I was in Tampa a few weeks ago I had one that truly blew me away.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was a simple rideshare ride back to my hotel after a fun night out at a comedy show (go see Godfrey if you get a chance \u2013 so funny).<\/p>\n

Let me start by saying this was part of my trip to see the Women\u2019s Final 4 college basketball tournament. It was sponsored by Coke Zero (which, by the way, is totally different than Diet Coke).<\/p>\n

So, the car pulls up. It\u2019s red and fully wrapped in the Cole Zero logo \u2013 even a lighted sign on top. That was cool but what happened next blew me away.<\/p>\n

\"\"I get into the back seat to find 2 screens on the back of driver\u2019s seat \u2013 one is already on and the other has all the channel possibilities available for you to be able to log into your account (Netflix, Prime, etc.) to watch anything you want.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The front and back seat passenger\u2019s side has the same thing (only one screen in the front seat). There\u2019s a bottle of hand sanitizer<\/strong> hanging from each seat and a full set of charging cables<\/strong> \u2013 no matter what kind of device you had, you\u2019re able to charge it.<\/p>\n

As I look up, I see the rear-view mirror has 3 different pictures on it \u2013 he\u2019s clearly monitoring<\/strong> everything with multiple cameras.<\/p>\n

As I begin to chat, the driver showed me all the views of the cameras he had at his fingertips.<\/p>\n

This guy clearly gets it.<\/strong> He\u2019s not just somebody who\u2019s driving people around. He\u2019s not just a rideshare driver. He\u2019s providing people with a true experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n

My business brain immediately goes to work as I ask him a bunch of questions. Most importantly, I ask him if he\u2019s working the next two mornings because I have places I\u2019m going and I need a ride \u2013 might as well use the guy who\u2019s providing the experience instead of the grumpy drivers, or the ones who are blasting whatever music they want to listen to.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, he\u2019s not working the days and times I need to go where I\u2019m going (darn it!).<\/p>\n

He actually made me want to ride with him!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The only thing that was missing was the offer of water or something to drink, but that\u2019s just looking for something that could have been better.<\/p>\n

This was the best rideshare experience I\u2019ve ever had.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026what did it take to stand out?<\/p>\n

Not much \u2013 charging cables (for all potential riders, not just one), friendliness, some hand sanitizer and, if it had been a longer ride, the potential to listen to or watch what I wanted to.<\/p>\n

It takes so little to create a great experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n
