Last week in the Mastermind with my clients, one of my clients, who does amazing work in their business, was talking about some things and it dawned on me they were their worst critic<\/strong>\u2026 like most of us are.<\/p>\n So, being me, I asked her the tough question.<\/p>\n The question was\u2026<\/p>\n \u2026 \u201cwould you let a friend talk to you that way?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n A surprised look came on their face \u2013 more a look of shock really \u2013 as they realized they were talking to themselves in a way they wouldn\u2019t let anybody else talk to them.<\/p>\n You spend more time with yourself (and in your head) in your life than you do with anybody else.<\/p>\n So why not be your own best friend<\/strong> instead of your worst enemy?<\/p>\n How often do you overthink<\/strong> things? I\u2019m known in my groups for asking the tough questions<\/strong> \u2013 it\u2019s not intended to be mean, but we all have to be real with ourselves.<\/strong> And, sometimes, we all just need somebody to point out to us where we need to look.<\/p>\n It\u2019s one of the reasons I have a coach \u2013 and always have.<\/p>\n This is partly about self-talk. And it goes further than that too.<\/p>\n It’s about being good to yourself and treating yourself with the respect, love and kindness you deserve.<\/strong><\/p>\n Do you always take better care of other people in your life than you do of yourself?<\/p>\n Think about that for a minute\u2026<\/p>\n The way you talk to yourself and what you do to take care of yourself is important.<\/p>\n It\u2019s not about being selfish either \u2013 it\u2019s just about taking care of you and your mental health \u2013 so you can take care of others too.<\/p>\n This applies to your life in general as well as your business.<\/p>\n Who\u2019s asking you the tough questions?<\/strong><\/p>\n To Your Success \u2013<\/p>\n Who do you spend the most time with in your lifetime? \u2026 Yourself Right?
