Have you ever been relaxing on a weekend, watching a movie, or something and you hear or see something that makes you stop in your tracks? <\/strong>That makes you rewind it so you can hear it again (and again, and again).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s exactly what happened to me this past Sunday night. I was watching \u201cSoul On Fire\u201d<\/em> on Netflix. It actually happened twice during the movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To set the scene for you, a father and his college-aged son are talking about his car and the son is sort of complaining that it\u2019s not very reliable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is what the father says,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, stop thinking about what it gives you<\/strong> and start thinking about what it needs from you. <\/strong>Take it slow, take it a little easier, invest in it. You\u2019ll be amazed what you get back.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m not sure why it hit me the way it did in that moment (and now), but I couldn\u2019t help but wonder what if we treated every situation that way\u2026including our businesses!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When was the last time you invested<\/strong> in your business for something you needed (or that the business needed from you in order to grow)?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you put the right things<\/strong> in you get amazing things back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You wouldn\u2019t put diesel in a gas engine\u2026
You wouldn\u2019t ignore putting oil in your car\u2026
You have to water<\/strong> the plants so they\u2019ll grow<\/strong> after you plant them\u2026
You don\u2019t expect to lose weight without changing how you eat or adding workouts to your life\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n

But what are you doing to build your business?
What are you ignoring or burying your head in the sand about?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you sending a newsletter and posting on social media expecting your business to grow<\/strong> and wondering why it isn\u2019t?

When was the last time you added something to your offerings or did something new?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I could go on and on\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you need more, or better leads, you could test an ad. You might just be amazed<\/strong> at the results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A little effort<\/strong>, in the right direction<\/strong>, can make a huge impact\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2026in life\u2026at the gym\u2026and in your business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are you going to do this week to invest in yourself, or your business, so you too can be amazed at what you get back?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
