There\u2019s a quote in the book \u201cAtomic Habits\u201d<\/em> that most people ignore or skip over\u2026probably because it\u2019s so powerful.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is it\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt doesn\u2019t make sense to continue wanting something if you\u2019re not willing to do what it takes to get it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let that sink in\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How many times have you wished for or said you wanted something that you\u2019re not truly working toward?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You might be going through the motions. Or thinking about it all the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But are you taking action<\/strong>\u2026doing what you need to do to achieve<\/strong> it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I see a lot of business owners talk about wanting to make sales, or to have a bigger business, etc. And I also watch them not be willing to do what it takes to get there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And, let me say\u2026it\u2019s ok. You don\u2019t have to be willing to do whatever it takes. Just know what you are willing to do and set your expectations accordingly.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I just really love the idea of letting go of and stop wanting the thing if you\u2019re not willing to do the work to get it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s really a freeing idea.<\/p>\n\n\n

You can\u2019t put all that energy elsewhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because you can have almost<\/em><\/strong> anything you want, if you\u2019re willing to work for it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And you get nothing you don\u2019t work for.
Ask yourself this\u2026\u201cwhere\u2019s my energy<\/strong> going?, what am I investing<\/strong>\/spending my time and energy on?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just make sure you answer honestly.<\/strong> Nobody else will know anyway \u2013 unless you keep talking about the thing you supposedly want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The worst lie you ever tell is the one you tell yourself\u2026it\u2019s also the easiest one to tell.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, either go to work to get the thing you say you want or let it go<\/strong>. If you let it go, maybe there will come a time when you\u2019re really ready to go for it and you can come back to it then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until then, spend your time and energy<\/strong> on something you really want\u2026something you\u2019ll do what it takes <\/strong>to get.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s ok to dream\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The question is do you want to turn your dream into reality, or do you just want to keep dreaming?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Achievement<\/strong> comes through action<\/strong>\u2026by doing\u2026not by dreaming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
