One of my Diane’s Dozen principles is There’s Always an Alternative Way to Do Something.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n That principle is incredibly useful in a Rapid Revenue Remodel<\/em><\/strong> because it forces us to challenge the automatic answer.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Before we spend more money and effort finding new customers, let’s look at the customers you already have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Are they buying once and disappearing?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Do they have another problem you can legitimately help them solve?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Is there a next step<\/strong> after your current offer?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Would ongoing support<\/strong> help them maintain or improve the result?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Could something become recurring?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Could a former client<\/strong> come back?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Could a past buyer move into a higher-level offer?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Could one client relationship be worth more without becoming more complicated?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Those are alternative revenue paths.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n And sometimes they’re faster than starting from zero with a stranger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Think about everything required to create a new customer.<\/p>\n\n\n You have to get their attention.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Build trust.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Explain the problem.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Explain the solution.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Handle objections.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Make the sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n An existing client already knows you.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n They already know how you work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n They already have evidence that you can help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If there is a legitimate next step, why wouldn’t you make it available?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The key word is legitimate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This isn’t about inventing random things to sell to people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It’s about looking at the client’s journey.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n What do they need next?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Maybe the project you complete creates a new set of needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Maybe strategy needs implementation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Maybe implementation needs maintenance.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Maybe an initial transformation needs ongoing accountability.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Maybe clients need access to you at a lower level after the main engagement ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n That could create recurring revenue.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n It could increase lifetime customer value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It could make revenue more predictable.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n And it may reduce the pressure to constantly find new people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n That’s a Rapid Revenue Remodel.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Same expertise.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Same clients.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Different model.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This is why I don’t like assuming there’s only one way to fix a revenue problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n More leads might be the answer.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n But they aren’t always the answer.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Sometimes the better question is\u2026What have we left unfinished with the people who already trust us?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n There’s always an alternative way <\/strong>to do something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Before you chase the next hundred prospects, look at the customers already inside your business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Your next revenue stream<\/strong> may already know your name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Would you like me to take a look at your current model and show you one or two ways you can increase your revenue?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Just reply \u201cRemodel\u201d<\/strong> and I\u2019ll help you discover at least one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.completemarketingsystems.com\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/DSC01092-scaled.jpg\")
