It’s possible to grow a business you don’t want.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s worth thinking about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can make more money<\/strong> and have less freedom.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can add clients <\/strong>and lose the time<\/strong> you wanted to protect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can build a team<\/strong> and create a management job<\/strong> you never wanted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can launch more offers<\/strong> and make the business more complicated.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

You can grow the top line<\/strong> while creating a business that feels heavier<\/strong> every year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of my Diane’s Dozen principles is Do All Things On and With Purpose.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That means the purpose of a Rapid Revenue Remodel can’t simply be “more.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More revenue matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But what is the revenue supposed to do<\/strong> for you and your business?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s the bigger question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe you want more profit without more clients.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe you want recurring revenue,<\/strong> so every month doesn’t start at zero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe you want to stop personally delivering<\/strong> every piece of the work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe you want fewer clients at a higher value.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe you want the business to operate without you.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe you want to build an asset<\/strong> you can eventually sell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe you simply want to stop working twelve-hour days.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those goals change the remodel.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your goal is freedom, <\/strong>you don’t want to build a model that requires more of your time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your goal is simplicity<\/strong>, don’t add seven offers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your goal is predictability,<\/strong> you should look at recurring revenue and retention.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your goal is profit, <\/strong>you need to care about margins, not just sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your goal is impact, <\/strong>you may need a delivery model that allows your expertise to reach more people without lowering the result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Purpose determines design.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t remodel your business around somebody else’s definition of success.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A seven-figure business isn’t automatically better than a half-million-dollar business.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The right model is the one that produces the business and life you’re intentionally trying to create.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, before you change the pricing, offers, marketing, delivery or team, ask yourself\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What am I building toward?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then make every decision support that answer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do all things on and with purpose.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because the goal isn’t simply to create more revenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s to create the right revenue<\/strong> inside a business you actually want to own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
