You can have a brilliant strategy<\/strong> sitting in your head and still have a business that doesn’t execute it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being a great communicator<\/strong> applies internally, in your business, just as much as it applies to your marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you\u2019re looking to make a change<\/strong> in your business the plan has to make sense to you\u2026and the rest of your team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether you\u2019re changing your offer, pricing, adding something new, or changing how leads are followed up with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The plan may make perfect sense to you.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But does everybody else understand it?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s where business owners get into trouble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You think you communicated because you mentioned something in a meeting or in an email.<\/p>\n\n\n

Your team heard the words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That doesn’t mean they understand the decision, <\/strong>the purpose<\/strong> or what they’re supposed to do differently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Great communication requires more.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are we changing?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who owns what?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does success look like?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What happens next?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If those answers aren’t clear, execution<\/strong> becomes inconsistent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And inconsistent execution makes a good strategy look like a bad one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imagine deciding that former-client reactivation is going to be a major part of your change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Great.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who<\/strong> pulls the list?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s<\/strong> the message?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who responds when someone raises their hand?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where<\/strong> is the follow-up tracked?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When<\/strong> do we review the results?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If nobody owns those pieces, “reactivate former clients” isn’t a strategy yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s an idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Communication turns the idea into action.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is especially important if you\u2019ve been doing something for years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You know the business instinctively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You see connections without explaining them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your team can’t read your mind.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neither can contractors or partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the business is going to become less dependent on you, what you know has to become understandable<\/strong> to someone besides you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That means documenting, explaining, setting expectations, giving feedback, creating clear handoffs<\/strong> and making sure people know what to do and why it matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019re not finished when your remodel exists only on paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019re finished when your business can actually run it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be a great communicator.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember\u2026the best revenue strategy in the world won’t change your numbers if nobody knows how to execute it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
