\u201cThe Dream Giver\u201d<\/em> is a great little inspirational book that is really a story in the first half of the book.\u00a0 I especially liked the first half of the book where the story takes a man named \u201cOrdinary,\u201d who wants to leave his life in the \u201cLand of Familiar\u201d and branch out to see what exists outside of his town and his paradigm.
\n\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/p>\n

The book then takes you along Ordinary\u2019s path and through all the obstacles he goes through to reach him dream.\u00a0 Ordinary meets Faith along his path, as well as giants.<\/p>\n

The story really is the story of any of us who have a big dream and face obstacles along the way that test our faith and our conviction to keep moving forward without giving up or going back to our comfort zone.<\/p>\n

The story could be any of us. We all have been given a big dream and if we\u2019re willing to take a risk and overcome some obstacles, we can and do get past them to move closer and closer to our dreams.<\/p>\n

To me, the biggest lesson of this book is that we all have a dream and sometimes that dream gets pushed to the side and we ignore it or forget about it, but it\u2019s always there waiting on you. And, if you don\u2019t pursue your big dream, something very important in life won\u2019t happen.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a bit of a daunting idea, to think that we are all here to fulfill our dream and if we don\u2019t keep after it and accomplish that thing there are important things that won\u2019t happen that are supposed to\u2026in some ways, that feels like a big responsibility to me, and yet one that I\u2019m certainly up to achieving.<\/p>\n

Another key idea here is that the journey toward your big dream changes you. In so many ways it\u2019s about the journey and not the destination.<\/p>\n

Here is another key idea that really struck me\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cUntil you decide to pursue your Dream, you are never going to love your life the way you were meant to.\u201d<\/p>\n

We have to break out of our comfort zones to achieve our Big Dreams. As a matter of fact, comfort and the desire for it, in many ways, is the enemy of your dream.<\/p>\n

So, get out there and go for what you want, I know I am! And, if you need a little inspiration along the way, pick up this little book called \u201cThe Dream Giver,\u201d<\/em> for a little needed inspiration and keep going after what you want in life.<\/p>\n
