Mindset is an overused word in the world today. You hear about it all the time. Well, no matter what you think about mindset, or whatever word you want to use, its’ important. The reason it’s so important in your life and in your business is that you’re one package.
Mindset is important because where your mind goes and where your mind stays keeps you focused in your business and your life.
When those times come and you’re not in a good place mentally everything in your life seems not as good.
When you’re angry or upset about something in your business you just go through the motions of life. You don’t smile, you’re not as happy, you’re not having fun in your business, you’re not doing the things that motivate you and get you moving.
All of that affects everything you do – your mindset.
What do you do when you’re just not feeling it, when you’re just having one of those times?
What do you do? Do you take a walk in nature, do you go workout, do you meditate, or do you go for a long run? What is it that you do to change your physiology, to change the way you feel…quickly?
Not a long drawn out process to get you in a different place but something you can do right now, or in the next 15 minutes, that will bring you to a different place.
Figure out what that thing is, because if your thoughts aren’t right, if your thinking isn’t right, your business isn’t right, and your life isn’t right, and you can’t fully help your clients. You can’t fully go out and do the things you need to do in your business in the way you need to do it.
We all have these times. No matter how successful you think a business owner is and how together you think they are, everyone has times when they can’t get out of their own way. It’s one of the biggest problem we have as entrepreneurs – getting out of our own way.
Figure out the things you can do to change where you are when you’re having one of those days when you’re just not feeling it. When it’s just not as fun as it should be, it’s just a little more of a struggle than you’d like it to be, figure out how to make those changes quickly so you can get yourself through the business day, be productive, and move forward so your business does the same thing.
When you can do a little bit and move forward every single day, your business is going to flourish because where you start and where you end the year, is so different – it can be phenomenal.
