Everybody Can’t Be A Leader…Or Can They?

We’ve been told there are leaders and there are followers, but aren’t we all leaders in our own right – in some way, shape or form?

And, as a business owner, doesn’t that, by its very nature, mean that you are a leader?

Did you ever consider that you might be by a leader and a follower in your own business?

You can’t be great and expert at all aspects of your business…it’s impossible. You might be a great speaker or a great marketer, but not be good at technical things, or accounting or a lot of other things that are necessary for your business to grow and thrive.

So, in the areas that aren’t your specific expertise, you still need to know some things about those aspects of your business but you aren’t the expert, so you take more of a followers role in those areas.

We put so much pressure on ourselves to be good at everything and to excel in all aspects of our lives that we forget that sometimes the smartest thing is to hire experts in areas that aren’t our specialty areas.

And, it’s one of the smartest business things we ever do.

Instead of working to strengthen your weaknesses, strengthen your strengths and hire your weaknesses.

Think about that for a minute – it’s pretty wise advice. And, it will save you a lot of head and heartache in your life and your business in the long run.

What is one thing you can let go of this week, and let somebody who excels in that area do, that will free up your time to work in one of your areas of strength?

If you start doing this you will find that you’ll be a lot happier…and so will the rest of your team because everyone will be doing things they love!

And, that is the best way to be a Leader in Your Business!
