Lessons & Words

December 19th, 2018 by under Business - General. No Comments.

This is a fun time of the year to be a business owner and to watch what people do and don’t do.

For example, are you taking time during the last 2 weeks of the year to plan for 2019, or are you taking some time off to be with friends and family? You might even just be working, as usual.

Do you spend time figuring out what your word of the year is going to be for next year?

Is it about endings or new beginnings for you?

It’s just interesting and fun to watch – some people do the same things every year and others change it up.

I’m going to challenge you to at the very least spend an hour or so thinking about and maybe even writing down some of the lessons you learned this year…lessons you can take into 2019, and beyond.

Here are a few of mine…

1) I’m tougher than I give myself credit for…as in I can handle a lot and manage to find my way through without losing myself
2) Small changes make BIG differences – in our lives and out businesses. You don’t have to trash what you have and start completely over
3) Learning to Let Go is necessary and important…Sometimes that includes people who were once very important in your life

I’m going to leave it at those 3 for now…there are more and they will go into my journal where I can ponder them and work on making things better. It doesn’t do you any good to figure these things out if you don’t move forward and keep working on yourself and your business.

Enjoy the last 11 days of 2018 no matter what you’re doing. One thing is for sure…time is the one thing you can’t get back – don’t waste it!

To Your Success –
