BSOS

Do you fall prey to BSOS?

…BSOS – Bright Shiny Object Syndrome

Do you jump on every new (and exciting) thing you see or that comes across your social media or email?

Do you have courses and things you’ve bought that you’ve never opened or looked at? (but they sure look pretty on your bookshelf…or in the folder in your computer – do you even remember where you stored it?)

…it was supposed to be the thing that saved you…

…that got you where you wanted to be – finally…

…it was supposed to be soooo easy to do and to make money with…

Have you tried every tactic somebody’s told you about – just to be disappointed because it didn’t work the same way for you?

I could go on and on…but I won’t.

I get it. We all go through those times when we’re searching, looking, hunting, trying to find our thing. Working to make it work for us.

I’ve been there too.

Here’s the good news!

There Is No Magic Pill!

You Are The Magic!

YOU!!

That’s right…it’s you…

It’s not out there…

The magic is inside you!

Concentrate on your basic business framework.

There are 5 foundational things you need – I call it your business framework – to do and get set in your business for you to have all the success you could ever dream of. And I’m not talking about mindset (although that’s important too).

Do you have a business framework?
Do you have a marketing plan for your business?
Do you know what you’re doing for the next 90 days to get your business where you want it to be?
Do you have a strategy for getting there?
Do you even know what the end result is that you’re working for (or are you just “showing up everyday” randomly doing things).

Hope and pray is NOT a business strategy…

…that will not work!

Stop jumping at every new thing. By the time some “guru” shows it to you, and teaches it to the world, they have probably moved on to something else…looking for the next thing to sell you.

Stop…get back to the basics…the principles of business and marketing haven’t changed in decades. The tools you use have changed, there are more media outlets for you to choose from, and things have gotten easier, but the fundamentals are the same.

Just like in sports, how you throw a ball is the same today as it’s always been.

Why do you keep looking for new ways to run your business?

Yes…use the best tools and upgrade when necessary – that’s not what I’m talking about here.

Build your foundation.

Get back to the basics – the fundamentals…

…they don’t change!
