Do Everything You Can While You Can

Life is a one-time deal. There’s no reason to hold anything back.

Stop waiting…

Waiting for the timing to be right.

Waiting until you have more money.

Waiting until you feel ready.

Waiting until the business is bigger, the plan is clearer, or the circumstances are easier.

There is no guarantee that “later” is coming.

That applies to business just as much as it applies to life.

People who create the most aren’t necessarily the people with the most resources, the most knowledge, or even the best ideas.

They’re often the people who are willing to use what they have, right now.

They launch the thing.

They make the offer.

They pick up the phone.

They send the email.

They ask for the sale.

They try new things.

They make mistakes, learn from them, and keep moving.

They don’t wait for perfect.

We tell ourselves we’re “getting ready.”

We’re working on the website.

We’re tweaking the offer.

We’re waiting until we have more followers.

And that’s just another way of saying:

I’m afraid to go all in.

But what if you approached your business with the mindset that you only get one shot at this version of your life?

What if you stopped worrying so much about what might go wrong and started thinking about what might happen if you actually gave it everything you’ve got?

Fully.

There’s a difference between being reckless and refusing to hold yourself back.

You can be strategic and still be bold.

You can have a plan and still take risks.

You can be smart about your decisions without spending so much time analyzing them that you never actually make one.

Eventually, you have to move.

You rarely regret trying as much as you regret wondering what would have happened if you had.

Business isn’t built by what you intend to do.

It’s built by what you’re willing to actually do.

You don’t have to know exactly how it’s going to turn out.

You just have to be willing to take the next step.

Then the next one.

Then the next one.

Sometimes you figure it out by moving.

Sometimes the opportunity only appears after you take the first step.

Sometimes the lesson only comes from doing the thing badly the first time.

And sometimes the biggest breakthrough in your business is on the other side of the thing you’ve been too afraid to try.

So do everything you can while you can.

Build the business.

Take the chance.

Make the ask.

Have the conversation.

Create the thing.

Serve your people.

Learn something new.

Make the mistake.

Try again.

Don’t spend your one life – and your one opportunity to build this business – sitting on the sidelines waiting for the perfect moment.

There is no perfect moment.

There is only the moment you’re in.

And you get to decide what you’re going to do with it.

Don’t hold back.

Not because everything will work.

Because you’ll never know what you’re capable of until you give yourself the chance to find out.

Life is a one-time deal.

So is this version of your business.

Go make the most of both.
